To use UserTile, just:
  • Create an GPO, or Edit Current one

  • Goto Policies -> User Configuration -> Windows Settings -> Logon
    • Double Click Logon
    • Click Show Files ...

  • Copy UserTile.exe

  • Set usertile.exe to run, andoptionally specify default picture location

  • Set the policy to run only on User Part (Computer Configuration is Disabled)

  • (!Optionally) create for WMI filter to run only on Vista and later computers

  • The correct value of WMI filter is:
SELECT Version FROM Win32_OperatingSystem WHERE Version > "6"

  • Apply the WMI filter to Policy
